Letter: Expulsion from Congress

Graphic by Lori Deaton

Madison Cawthorn had quite the first week in Congress. He made a speech at the rally of the loser, which incited an insurgency against our country. Then he bragged about carrying a firearm during the riot he helped cause. If he has a lawful North Carolina concealed carry permit, it’s not valid in the District of Columbia and it’s furthermore illegal to carry a firearm in a federal building.

Then, like his fearful leader Donald Trumpinoff, he denied any responsibility for what his words helped spark. As a disabled military retiree with over 23 years of service, I think we the people of Western North Carolina deserve much better than Madison Cawthorn as our representative.

Barely after taking his oath of office to defend our Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, he calls for an insurgency against that same Constitution.

My hope is that when they start looking for people to charge in the aftermath of the events in Washington, they follow the trail right to the door of Madison Cawthorn and that he be expelled from Congress. That and that the sheriff who issued him a carry permit, if he has one, revoke that permit. … Quite the first week for a punk who should have never been elected in the first place.

Regretfully submitted,

— Brad West

Get over it Brad. Moe got his neck snapped by double digits by the shiftless punk who’s never achieved anything.

What’s required of you now dear Brad is you must come together and unite behind YOUR new Congressman, repeat after me—The Honorable Madison Cawthorn.

For the good of the country you must let go of your partisan rancor and this is the time to unify.

Never gonna happen pal. Not for the insurrectionists. Traitors who fear democracy. Normal Republicans have our attention, but not those people.

Is the Roller Nazi one of those Members of Congress we can “lightly threaten?” Can we declare his election a fraud and proclaim the election stolen the way he did? Can we show up at his office and break windows and hit him over the head with a fire extinguisher the way you people did at the Capitol? We will “unify” when you people do. We won’t hold our breath…

        Interesting
        1. You make fun of someone having a disability. Very excepting.
2 .Yes you can declare the results of an election illegal for five years if your a Dem or media.
        3. Dems, Socialist etc have been destroying public buildings ( about 160 riots, insurrections ). Burning in many cases the only grocery stores in neighborhoods they claim to be protecting, I guess the poor people who can’t move from those neighborhoods can buy healthy nutritious food at the local gas station.
        4. Interesting the majority or residents in these communities say they want more and better policing not less.
        5. When you call every one from Regan to McCain a nazi you really have credibility.
        6. When you’ve called for rioters to be arrested for the last year you can also call for anyone who committed riotous act at the Capital to be arrested. If not, you are intellectually dishonest to assert those calls now.
