Letter writer: In HB2 issue, what about locker rooms and showers?

Graphic by Lori Deaton

All the talk and protests about HB2 seem centered on people using restrooms that correlate with their new chosen gender, but what about locker rooms and locker-room showers?

I personally could care less if a female comes into my locker room looking like a dude and walking like she’s got a package; hell, I would even give her pointers [about] how to get that man-walk looking good if she were ask. I’m all about helping folks.

My concern is when a male dressed like a woman enters the female locker room and starts swinging his Johnson around when young kids and spouses are present. How do you explain that to your 8-year-old daughter and have your friends and loved ones exposed to that?

I don’t want to see transgendered people’s rights violated in any way, but given the transgendered make up only around 0.03 percent of the U.S. population, what about the rights of the other 99.7 percent? Just asking.

What pray tell should we the people do about Dennis Hastert the Republican who set up a Lazy Boy chair to watch underage males shower in high school locker rooms?

Hastert has plead guilty by the way, as in he acknowledges that a former GOP Speaker of the House dressed in male clothes and molested underaged males.

Let’s pass HB3, as in no GOP males in restrooms or locker rooms or having any contact with under aged children.
Business owners can then refuse service for any GOP voters based on their sexual predator status.

No wedding cake for you, GOP. My children deserve a non buggering free trip to the bathroom.

Maybe freedom lovers can then extend the “Stand Your Ground” idea to anyone with an American flag lapel pin in a restroom-
“But officer, I feared for my child’s life!”.

All the more reason to call HB2 what it really is- a solution in search of a problem. This is the elephant in the room.

Were any of those Dems you listed (duh, I know they exist on both sides of the political spectrum) dressed as the opposite sex?
        No?

If the true purpose of said bill is to ‘keep the children safe’, well, we as adults, voters and lawmakers aren’t doing a very good job of it.
But NC is doing great job of hiding a discriminatory bill behind a veneer of moral righteousness.

        • FeeltheBern

And by mixing guys and gals in the same bathroom that is the solution to the problem. I got it now, I remember seeing that on the show called the “Twilight Zone”.

Probably one of the best letters I’ve ever seen written to MX. Congrats. Swingin’ Johnson and all.

Really? I challenge any males to relate a (true) story of ever being in a men’s restroom and having to tolerate someone ‘swinging it around’ as described. Who does that (besides GOP politicians in male locker rooms)?

Internet porn and frat houses do not count either, by the way, as neither are grounded in reality.

If you could care less, then why don’t you?
Highly recommended – in fact, I’m doing it in your general direction right now.

      Deep thought for the day-

If one could care less, that means they care a little bit, or just enough to pen a letter supporting defacto discrimination.

If one could not care less, that means that they really have a 0% caring rating, and really don’t care.

“My concern is when a male dressed like a woman enters the female locker room”

Hark at all of these menfolk who are a) obsessed with what goes on inside women’s facilities; b) think that women are too week and feeble to deal with actual harassment. Do they ride around on white horses all day long, looking for damsels to save, or do they just have really weird fantasies?
