Letter writer: The American public has been snowed on CO2’s impact on climate

In February of 1981, CIA Director William Casey said to his staff: “We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.”

I can’t help thinking of that quote every time I realize how resoundingly brainwashed the American public is on a number of subjects, not the least of which is the false propaganda that human-generated CO2 is causing the Earth’s atmosphere to warm. This particular brainwashing meme has been so successful because they’ve disguised this false belief in terms of environmentalism. “We’ve got to save the Earth!”

It rears its ugly head everywhere, such as the vacuous opinion piece in the [Nov. 4] Mountain Xpress written by Richard Fireman [“Our Survival’s at Stake”], making claims about global warming that even the odious propaganda organization, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, has disavowed. People will literally believe anything if it’s called “science” and disguised as environmentalism.

CO2 comprises .0004 of total atmospheric composition. The percentage of atmospheric CO2 from non-human sources is 250 times greater than the human contribution. Human contribution to total atmospheric CO2 is .004, which means that human-sourced CO2 comprises only 0.0000016 of total atmospheric composition. That is 16 parts out of 10 million! This is called a trace gas  a gas which, in this case, is absolutely essential to all life on Earth. CO2 was declared a “pollutant” by the Environmental Protection Agency for purposes of regulatory control. From a scientific perspective, that is patently absurd.

To read a terrific anti-brainwashing essay on this question, search for “Ask Randall: Climate Change – Who Are the Real Deniers?” by Randall Carlson.

This message brought to you by the good folks at Exxon, who thank you for the billions they make every year off of polluting our planet. To keep their profits rolling in, they finance junk science, which pollutes human minds so that some actually believe that there is no man-made climate change crisis.

“It is hard to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on his not understanding it.”
    Upton Sinclair

    • Oil producers EARN billions by providing clowns like this with the energy to sit in his warm, well- lighted home while eating low-cost food shipped from across the world so he can click a button on his computer and complain in public about a problem that has been solved in capitalist countries.

Are you talking about him or yourself? If it’s yourself, good point.

If global warming is happening or not, or if it is caused by CO2 is not the real problem.
The real problem is that the measures to counteract this so called dangerous climate change. The so called green solutions are actually very, very destructive to the environment; more destructive that what 3 deg. of global warming could ever be.
Building windmills and solar plants have done nothing to reduce CO2 in real terms.
If these people really believe that CO2 is a problem and they want to save the planet, then they need to start utilizing technologies that actually work and do not fill the pockets of Siemens and GE for providing useless expensive outdated technologies.
This is actually what the fossil fuel industry is scared off, real solutions. As long as we build windmills and use solar we will need oil, gas and coal and produce poverty.

As we’re being massively brainwashed on the issue of “Climate Change” this week, here’s another very good anti-brainwashing article by Mike Adams of Natural News, who WAS a believer in the Man-Made Global Warming construct, but learned what a hoax it is after he took the time to look into it objectively. Don’t miss the 49-minute podcast:

Global warming HOAX unravels… globalist science fraud engineered to control humanity, not save it

Yes, lets call a well respected international organization with 119 member countries and thousands of contributing scientists a “propaganda organization”. Really? You’ve clarified the issue with your careful calculations, and might want to contact IPCC with them. We’ll all be very relieved that Homo sapiens sapiens isn’t culpable. It’ll be much easier to continue status quo.

  3. Yep

Climate change aka global warming is the greatest hoax the planet has ever suffered. Absolutely concocted by the likes of algore
and other idiots who have made millions from the quacked ‘science’ which never proves anything. Cannot believe people still
    buy into this quackery.

UN Agenda 21 or now repackaged as “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”
In plain English, how to con the global population into a socialist society. The have chosen CO2, it is like Jesus; it can be proven but you can relate everything that happens to it.

If you don’t like socialism, you must hate the US military, since it is the biggest socialist institution in the world.

If your house is on fire, please tell the socialist fire department to keep off of your property. And the next time you drive to town, please don’t use the socialist roads or bridges.
