Yes, Jeff Miller is a fine man. And he is a non-politician. Unlike Shuler, who lived and worked in East Tennessee before moving back just to take residency to run for office, Miller is local all the way. He is a small businessman in Hendersonville.

    VOTE JEFF MILLER NOV 2nd!

  2. This wonderful man has signed a pledge (sponsored by oil interests) to oppose any legislation that would curb carbon emissions, no matter what the scientific community might say. He is a radical “drill-baby-drill” anti-environmentalist.

While I take wide exception to some of Heath Shuler’s votes (most particularly health care), there is simply no question that Miller would represent a terrible backward step for WNC and the country. Ignoring science and pretending that the current administration caused the economic woes visited on us by Bush and company is nothing less than fantasy. We don’t need magicians in Congress, we need realists.

Yes we do, Cecil, REALISTS! Shuler was tapped by top Regime guy Rahm Emmanuel and courted by John Edwards, only to vote TWICE for Nancy Pelosi as
Speaker. Miller FOUNDED Honor Air while Shuler threw a football and developed a nice little Tennessee real estate office, where they have NO state income tax. Miller is anything BUT a ‘radical anti-environmentalist’ and you should not be spreading untruths. We’ve heard quite enough from the ‘scientific’ community and most of it is BS.

‘One who Knows” appears to be a misnomer.

“This…conservative will work very hard to improve the economy of and bring jobs…”

Yes, Republicans have an impressive track record of improving the economy and bringing jobs…to China. That was one of the benefits of Bush tax cuts. As for this bilge from Hunter/Troll or whatever name he chooses: “We’ve heard quite enough from the ‘scientific’ community and most of it is BS.”

What credentials do you have to pronounce that overwhelming scientific consensus on this topic is ‘BS’? Are you a scientist? Then what is your source? Tea leaves, a crystal ball or Fox ‘News’?

  6. lovefood

OMG, most of you are so politically biased, you couldn’t possibly give an elephant a chance, huh? What have the donkeys done for us…really?

  7. Margaret Williams

For everyone but especially those whose comments are in a kind of time-out… Keep it civil. Keep it on topic.

    Dio…
I use all the sources you named. And then some.
And Im a student of facts, not illusion.

    “Dio…

Since you admit to using the sources I named, specifically tea leaves, crystal balls and Fox News, did any of the other sources you allude to happen to include any peer-reviewed scientific studies? If so, it would be great if you could cite them.

too much trouble to go back and do a bibliography for you…you’ll just have to trust the truth…

you’ll just have to trust the truth…

    Oh, brother!

And speaking of “truth,” just why would anybody go to a candidate’s personal website expecting to find a true picture of said candidate?

  12. Dionysis

“you’ll just have to trust the truth…”

I do. Let us know if you ever accidentally bump into it yourself.

Translation: “I just repeated what I wanted to hear, and if I go back and actually FACT CHECK it might show that my preconceived notions were wrong. So just accept what I call ‘fact’ even though it does not appear to be actual ‘fact’.

“Weather” and “climate” are a fraud perpetuated by the Weather Network and Al Gore!
