Perdue’s ready for the job

North Carolina needs a governor who cares about all the people of North Carolina, not just the rich. As an educator, Bev Perdue understands the importance of our children’s education, as well as the ability to afford it.

Bev Perdue will be a governor who supports our efforts for cleaner air and water. She has the experience and knowledge needed to develop plans that protect our most vital natural resources and our state’s health care needs. She understands the needs of the farmer, the educator, the banker, the elderly, our law enforcement and fire [personnel]. As lieutenant governor, she demonstrated her ability to serve as governor by fighting for our military men and women and saving the N.C. military bases.

Her caring and dedication to service make her a champion for our work force and our less privileged.

I have known Bev Perdue for more than 25 years. I know she is qualified to lead the wonderful state of North Carolina. I will proudly cast my vote for her to be our next governor.
