Repower America

We face many challenges in 2009 and beyond. We also have unprecedented opportunity with new leadership to: create new jobs, stabilize our economy/energy prices and work towards freedom from dirty fuels along with their global warming pollution.

WNC would support repowering America with 100 percent clean electricity as it will get us jobs and our environment back on track.

Forty years ago, America landed men on the moon in just over eight years after John F. Kennedy asked for ten. Today, America should be able to do the same with our energy, utilizing wind, solar, geothermal and hydroelectric technologies.

We will still need the “old/dirty” technologies for many years to come, but we can start a brave new world for our children/grandchildren instead of simply handing them the dirty world we were given. Combine all the great ideas from all the great minds and don’t allow the oil companies access to purchase the patents or muddy the water. See the plans at repoweramerica.org, pickensplan.com, energync.net and cleanenergy.org.
