What do these words have in common?

In reference to Molton’s cartoon of Dec. 19—I am used to having my name misspelled, but I have never seen anyone misspell the name of the movie director whose name I share. Perhaps a pronunciation guide would help: accent on the first syllable. (The second letter is a long “o.”)

Not that difficult. Think of piccolo, broccoli—yes, even buffalo for examples. I thank you.
