MX Giveaway! Mills River Creamery Dinner and Dessert for Two

Ever wanted to visit a dairy farm? This week’s MX Giveaway at Mills River Creamery invites you to get out and experience the beauty and delicious offerings of this third generation dairy farm in the Mills River area. Grandfather Johnston started selling fresh milk in 1917, and his three grandsons continue the family tradition, providing fresh local milk, butter, heavy cream, half and half, chocolate milk, and fresh buttermilk, all from cows they raise on the farm.

Start off with dinner at Nancy Lynn’s Diner, which is located just down the road from the farm and serves up dishes featuring the farm’s dairy products, locally made sausage and seasonal Mills River Valley produce. For the dessert portion of your meal, saunter next door to the Mills River Creamery and Local Market to taste tradition in delicious and super fresh-from-the-dairy ice cream.

I’m a big fan of food. Especially of locally made sausage and seasonal Mills River Valley produce and delicious and super fresh-from-the-dairy ice cream. So this prize would be a perfect fit for me.

My favorite stop for ice cream after hiking. I’ve never been to the restaurant, and would like to try it!

I just got back in Asheville from Charlottesville Va. where we protested against the NC KKK who wanted to have a rally. So many people showed up against them the city cut their rally off and escorted them outta town. Sure could use a nice dinner since I am broke after the trip.

I had no idea that Mills River had a local dairy. If I have a choice I always buy a local product.
Definitely going to check it out at Earth Fare

We love North Carolina. We love Mills River. We love Dinner. We love Dessert. We love Ice Cream. Most of all – we’d love to Win. Thanks.

I grew up drinking warm, raw milk from my grandmother’s cows. We churned butter, scooped the cream from the top of the milk bottles. I can’t wait to bring my grandchildren to Mills River Creamery and Nancy Lynn’s Dinner so they can learn to love real milk like I did. I’ll check out S.O.B.’s milk at Earth Fare!

Wo doesn’t love ice cream? I’m known as the Dairy Queen (no relationship with the DQ chain which serves very little dairy). The Nancy Lynn Diner sounds good too.

Maybe with a genuine creamery/dairy I’ll be able to find *real* full-fat, pure buttermilk – preferably Bulgarian style. Here’s hoping!

Before we built our cabin in Waynesville 10 years ago, we tent camped, all the time, at Mills River Campground. This advertisement at Mountainx.com makes me anxious to visit again. Sounds wonderful. Thx for the opportunity.
