Rolling Stone compared Adia Victoria to “PJ Harvey covering Loretta Lynn at a haunted debutante ball.” Anybody who ranks a comparison to Loretta Lynn and PJ Harvey, you that’s a show you don’t want to miss. Her first single “Stuck in the South” made people sit up and listen in the new Country scene. She brings a lot of the tragedy back to Country that is sometimes neglected amidst the parade of star-spangled parade of drawling inanity, that some people think is real country.
