Ever wanted to see an all cat band? Well, one lucky cat lover and their cat loving guest will be purrrfectly pleased to attend The RockCats, possibly your favorite new rock band. Yes, they are real cats. And yes, they really perform music and other acrobatic feats. Seen on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, these cats will amaze you with their feline agility, do the wildest stunts — tricks with various hoops, tumblers, skateboards and flags, and challenge your perception of all things cat with their superb cooperative talents.
Currently on tour, The Acro-Cats will be performing in Asheville at the Diana Wortham Theatre at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 7.
Samantha Martin (trainer/ring-master extraordinaire) and her team of animal performers are traveling the country on their quest to entertain, but another component of the show is to promote fostering and finding homes for cats and kittens. The troupe itself is made up of former orphans and strays. As amazing as the show is, perhaps the most extraordinary part is the emphasis on improving the relationship between humans and their “furr ever” feline friends.
For a chance to win a pair of tickets to the show, comment below before midnight on Sunday, April 30.

My mom had a cat she trained to do tricks. He could roll over, shake, and play dead. It would be fascinating to see what this kind hearted trainer has been able to do with her cats.
Mourning the loss of a beloved feline friend, purrhaps the Acro Cats would be the purrfect tribute to my furry friend.
I would be PAW-sitively tickled to have the FUR-tune to see the acro-cats in action.
FUR real, I’d be LION if I said my partner wouldn’t be easily PURR-suaded to join me to see such CLAW-ver cats and su-PURR-ior TAIL-ent.
I know this will LITTER-ally be an un-FUR-gettable experience and a PAW-esome way to spend an afternoon in the MEOW-tains.
If we can CAT-ch some free tickets, we will be FUR-ever grateful!
