Purpose of the Study: This research aims to understand the experiences and perceptions of safety among trans people during their time of incarceration. Your insights and stories are invaluable in shedding light on the challenges and safety concerns faced by trans individuals in correctional facilities.
Who Can Participate?
You identify as a trans person.
You have previously been incarcerated in a correctional facility (jail or prison).
You are 18 years or older.
What’s Involved?
Participation in a confidential interview (approximately 1-2 hours).
Sharing your personal experiences and perceptions of safety during your incarceration.
