The polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Election Day — Tuesday, Nov. 4. Voters must vote at their polling place, which can be located here.
Early voting turnout broke all records this year, with 82,805 of Buncombe County’s voters — that’s 47 percent of the total — having already voted. If that pace of turnout keeps up, expect potential lines tomorrow, so setting aside a decent amount of time to go vote is a good idea.
If you’re still in line at 7:30 p.m., don’t despair: You still get to vote.
If you’re still deciding whom you’ll cast your vote for, let Xpress’ handy voter guide be of assistance. And stay tuned to MountainX.com for breaking election news and results.
More election information, including sample ballots, can be found at the Board of Elections Web site.
