In your recent cover story by Margaret Williams [“Caught in the Web?”, Dec. 17], it was incorrectly suggested that The Global Report, having forfeited newspaper production, is now “online only.”
Not so. The nonprofit Global Report news project continues to be a unique, grassroots, multimedia project. Every week, dozens of volunteers devote a lot of time and energy to producing not only a Web site, but an electronic newsletter, radio show (local low-power FM station WPVM’s oldest news program, in fact) and a nationally broadcast television program reaching tens of millions of homes in the U.S. These various avenues, of course, are all accessible through our Web site: theglobalreport.org.
That being said, we sure do miss our newspaper though … and mourn the good old days.
