Press Release
From RiverLink:
RiverLink’s rafting friends at Blue Heron Whitewater are hosting their annual fundraising day for RiverLink on Sunday, May 3. 100 percent of the proceeds from their 2 p.m. half-day trip will be donated to RiverLink.
The owners of Blue Heron Whitewater are three friends who have been in the outdoor recreation business for decades. They bring a wide-ranging skill set and a level of experience that shows in their attention to the guest experience and the details of running top-notch river trips from their facility at 35 Little Pine Road in Marshall (map).
Potential paddlers can call Blue Heron Whitewater at (888) 426-7238 or (828) 450-4663, or visit their website at http://blueheronwhitewater.com/.
RiverLink is a regional non-profit working to revitalize the French Broad River Watershed as a place for everyone to live, work and play. RiverLink’s most recent audit showed that 84 cents of every dollar go right back into the community in the form of parks, greenways, cleaner rivers, and more. Learn more about them at riverlink.org.
