Asheville, NC – The City of Asheville Parks and Recreation presents the 2014 Memorial Day Pool-A-Palooza. In honor of Memorial Day and the nation’s military families, come celebrate the start of summer on Monday, May 26 at the Recreation Park Pool located at 65 Gashes Creek Road. Active and non-active military personnel get free admission with a military I.D. from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. which includes refreshments, contests, music, swimming and lots of fun. The general public is invited beginning at 1:00 p.m. for only $3 general admission.
