The staff of DisAbility Partners Center for Independent Living invites everyone to visit the Center on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 2 p.m. to celebrate the 24th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. DisAbility Partners is located at 108 New Leicester Highway – just across from the Hot Spot convenience store.
DisAbility Partners staff invites asks you to stop in to learn more about Centers for Independent Living, the Americans with Disabilities Act and service providers in Western North Carolina. Invited guests include city officials & state representatives, Veterans, staff from ABCCM and the Vets Quarters, media, other non-profits, local/state agencies and service providers for persons with disabilities.
DisAbility Partners is a non-profit organization that advocates with and for persons with disabilities of all types. All services are provided free of charge. The four core services include Advocacy, Information & Referral, Peer Counseling and Independent Living Skills. We also have the CyberPals Computer Program. DisAbility Partners serves Buncombe, Henderson, Madison, McDowell, Polk, Rutherford and Transylvania Counties. The office in Sylva serves Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Jackson, Macon and Swain Counties.
