Daugherty’s American Kitchen & Drink opens its doors in Asheville’s Gerber Village

From a press release:

Asheville, NC (August 22, 2014) – Daugherty’s American Kitchen & Drink, a new restaurant by sports star and hometown celebrity Brad Daugherty, is now open in South Asheville’s Gerber Village.  Drawing on inspiration from Brad’s past travels, the restaurant celebrates fresh variations of American cuisine with a strong focus on simple menus and “share plates.” Although occupying the space that was formally Frankie Bones, Daugherty’s takes on a brand new look thanks to major renovations, enhanced lighting, and an expanded outside seating area.

“This new endeavor represents all that is important to Brad,” said Managing Partner Alan Wolf. “A true neighborhood restaurant with a focus on fiercely fresh dishes to share is at the heart of Brad’s vision. We’re excited to be part of what’s sure to be a great addition to Asheville’s vibrant culinary scene.”

Daugherty’s is open Sunday through Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The bar is open seven days a week until midnight with a late-night quick-bites menu available.
