As the four principal members of Atlanta’s SolStar slowly jammed their way into this song, they joked with the crowd that they were worried about their dancer, who insisted on performing in spite of previously hurting her foot. But that didn’t stop her, and it certainly didn’t stop them, as they’d gathered a crowd of at least a dozen onlookers. They’d just finished a high-energy tune, and although I’d only caught about half of it, it was good enough that I decided to stick around for their next song. Unfortunately, I only had my cell phone with me and didn’t have much time to record more than this one song. What you see in this video isn’t exactly a great representation of the group’s recorded work, which tends to be far more experimental and focused. (I can recommend the tunes “MillionAir” and “Sweet Struggle” for a good starting point, both of which can be found on their Facebook page.)
