Town and Mountain Realty to hold third annual Home for the Holidays FUNdraiser
Town and Mountain Realty believes everyone deserves a place to call home. The goal of this year’s 3rd Annual Home for the Holidays FUNdraiser continues to concentrate on the homeless population in Asheville. We are attempting to reach those in immediate need and those that fall through the cracks with government funding.
We are excited to be hosting our family event at the Orange Peel on Friday, Dec. 5, from 5-11 p.m. Kids’ activities and games will be from 5-7 p.m., then food, drinks and dancing from 7-11 p.m. Again, we have set our goal to match our donation of $10,000. We have chosen five local non-profits to work with this year. We feel these 5 make efforts to help those homeless and in crisis in our community. They include: Homeward Bound of WNC (AHOPE), Helpmate, Caring for Children, Asheville Homeless Network, and Western Carolina Rescue Mission.
Along with all the other festivities there will be a “Silent Auction” featuring items from Tweetsie Rail Road, Asheville Bee Charmer, Haldane Creative Art, Nantahala Outdoor Center, Crossfit Pisgah & Grey Eagle Crossfit, Early Girl Eatery, Eclipse Hair Salon, Blue Kudzu Sake Company, Sensibilities Day Spa and more.
