What’s next — polygamy benefits?

I am so disappointed in our political leaders who are continually trying to legislate homosexual lifestyles for the sake political expediency [see http://avl.mx/rf for the story]. This is another sad day for Asheville and Buncombe County. They have seemingly giving into the political context of Asheville's gay community, as well as placating to the homosexual and transgender "choice" lifestyle.

Question: Will they also provide a benefit package to those heterosexual unmarried couples and those in polygamous relationships as they are attempting to do for same-sex couples?

America and its leaders will be held accountable by God as it relate to the polices it forces upon God's people as a standard of living, and will cause those who are on the fence whether Christian or not, to pitch their tent closer to Sodom. We are being force to raise our families in Sodom and the world is attempting to pollute and corrupt the righteous minds of those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes, we are all sinners, saved by God's grace, that is, those who believe!

To our "political leaders" who are Christians, you must not compromise what the Bible says about homosexuality — ever. As a leader, no matter how much you desire to be compassionate to the homosexual and their live in partners, your first sympathies belong to the Lord and to the exaltation of His righteousness.

Across America, all of our county commissioners, city council members, state representatives and senators, congressmen and congresswomen, as well as the White House, who have voted for "same-sex benefits and/or marriage" have allowed the homosexual advocates and their futile reasoning and empty arguments to persuade them without any real substance.

Those who advocate that sin are fundamentally committed to overturning the lordship of Christ in Asheville and Buncombe County and the entire world! So, sad!

It seems that Pastor Ogden is another example of Old Testament Christianity…think about that for a minute. That would be pre-Christ Judaism. The New Testament utters not a single word on homosexuality. If I understand the loving Christ’s message , Jesus of Nazareth was an inclusive person that did not judge. His only wrath was for the money changers, not against gays.
