From a press release:
Hendersonville Community Co-op hosts ribbon cutting for new store April 22
Hendersonville Community Co-op will celebrate the opening of the new store on Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22, starting with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:00 p.m. in the courtyard.
The co-op is owned by many families, so they are asking that you bring your scissors and help cut the ribbon and take home a little piece of history!
Other activities on tap for the day:
• Announcing the winning name for the special beer created just for this occasion from Southern Appalachian Brewery and tapping the kegs around 5:00 p.m. The beer is an organic session IPA, a nice balance of barley, oats, hops and yeast, and it is delicious.
• Tasting of this special single session IPA — bring your I.D. and some cash.
• Unveiling the Sunflower Project Tables painted by local artists for the deli seating area and meet the artists!
• Live music from local performing artists.
• Samples from our store to taste throughout the store.
• Drawing the winning name for the RUNA TEA bicycle! (winner need not be present to win)
• The Board of Directors will offer store tours.
