Asheville Sister Cities hosts a Bastille Day celebration and fundraiser at Metro Wines on Sunday, July 12.

The Saumur Committee of local non-profit Asheville Sister Cities, Inc. (ASCI) will host a fundraiser in celebration of Bastille Day, on Sunday, July 12 from 3-5 pm, at Metro Wines, 169 Charlotte Street. Tickets are $10 per person, which includes one complimentary glass of wine, bubbly or sparkling water, entry to the silent auction and trivia tournament plus eligibility for a raffle.
An outdoor French market will feature local artisans, Diana Gillespie of Asheville Tile Works, the Asheville Cheese Store, Postre Caramel and Rose’s Garden Shop. Artists Jason Rafferty and Roxanne Clement will also be exhibiting. Creperie Bouchon will be on site serving traditional crêpes and The Hop Ice Cream Cafe will feature French-themed ice cream at one of their carts. A percentage of sales will go to the Saumur Committee of ASCI.
The silent auction will be held inside Metro Wines, as well as a French trivia game.
