It’s not every day that you get a chance to catch such a—dare I say it—legendary group of musicians performing on stage together as you will on November 21 when Greenville’s Peace Center hosts Ricky Skaggs, Ry Cooder, and Sharon White on their Songs for the Good People tour. This tour stands out for the old-school repertoire that the trio is performing, including country standards, gospel, and bluegrass numbers ranging in authorship from Hank Williams to Flatt and Scruggs, to Buck Owens.

Love Highway 40 Blues!
I love any older country music. All I ever listen to is Ricky Skaggs, The Whites, Ricky Skaggs and Sharon White, lastly Loretta Lynn. When I listen to The Whites with Ricky it is usually Will My Mother Know Me There. When listening to the Whites I love any The Carter Family they do especially Keep on the Sunnyside. I also love to hear The Whites sing Mansion Over a Hilltop or Homesick For Heaven with Ricky Skaggs.
