In February, the producers of Animal Planet’s Finding Bigfoot are coming to the Asheville area in search of the elusive, big hairy creature that, some say, wanders these hills. Perhaps the crew was inspired to come investigate after Sasquatch activity was reported in the area in August. See the story from the Citizen-Times. The show’s crew will hold a meeting for folks interested in their pursuit to share stories and help one another in the perennial quest for a cryptozoologist’s triumph, proof of Bigfoot.

Animal Planet’s hit series “Finding Bigfoot” will be filming an episode this November in the greater Asheville area. The team; Matt Moneymaker, Cliff Barackman, James “Bobo” Fay and Ranae Holland; are hard at work looking for the latest Bigfoot sightings, evidence and stories and they need YOUR help!
Have you seen what you believe is a Sasquatch? Have you experienced mysterious sounds, unusual tracks or other phenomena that point to Bigfoot? WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Abbi, no one has contacted us about tickets though we contacted them twice. Do they mail us the where’s?
I’m afraid I really don’t know much about it. Television shows can be funny about contacting. They may have already put you on the list or something. I also have heard that they may not have found the venue yet. In which case, they may be holding off on contacting everyone until they can share the location.

besides Sunday is Superbowl day, how many [eople do they think will show up?
I know Matt & Bono have seen Bigfoot’s but has Cliff actually seen one. Also I would like to the comment that Kansas is a flat state. I agree that much of it is but I grew up in the northeast part of the state which includes the Flinthills which are very tall hills. The waterways & valleys are rich either forested areas. Just wanted to clear that up. Thanks
