Meet Congressional Candidate Andy Millard in Black Mountain, NC
COLUMBUS, N.C. (August 8, 2016): A “Meet and Greet” reception in support of Andy Millard, the Democratic nominee for North Carolina’s 10th Congressional District, will be held Tuesday, August 23 at 5:00 pm at the Monte Vista Hotel. The Monte Vista Hotel is located at 308 West State Street in Black Mountain, NC.

Andy Millard is a Polk County community leader running to serve the people of the Tenth Congressional District. He is a former schoolteacher, principal, small business owner and financial planner. He holds the Certified Financial Planner® designation and if elected would be the only member of Congress to hold that distinction. He believes we need a new approach to governing and wants to bring his long experience working with diverse groups to the United States House of Representatives. “Congress’ approval rating is in the cellar for a reason,” he says. “We need a whole new approach, and that means a new congressman.”
