“Goodnight Asheville” Book Signing at the Asheville Museum of Science
AMOS hosts Holly Myers, author & illustrator of “Goodnight Asheville” a children’s book about the city’s favorite attractions, museums, and historical landmarksASHEVILLE, N.C. – November 29th– The Asheville Museum of Science (AMOS) is pleased to announce they will be hosting a book reading and signing of “Goodnight Asheville” with author & illustrator Holly Myers on Friday, December 9, beginning at 9:30 a.m. AMOS is among many Asheville attractions that can be found within the pages of this local children’s book. Books may be purchased in the AMOS gift shop.
Holly is a wife, mother and adventurist who was inspired to create a book for her family about their hometown. “Goodnight Asheville” acknowledges all of the amazing outdoor spaces, places, and history that make Asheville so special.
Book reading begins at 9:30 a.m. and the signing will occur immediately following. As part of the program, AMOS will host hands-on activities and provide more information about their upcoming pre-k programming series “Little Explorers Club” beginning January 13.
“Little Explorers Club” will occur on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month. 3-5 year-olds and their caregivers will have exclusive access to AMOS from 9 a.m. – 10a.m. for guided activities, free play and exploration. Each month AMOS will design activities around a specific scientific theme.
