Pardee UNC Health Care will host a free UNC Cancer Network Lunch and Learn videoconference event for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers. The session, “Managing Financial Toxicity When Facing Cancer,” will take place on Friday, Sept. 29 from 12 to 1 p.m. in Pardee Hospital’s video conference room, located at 800 N. Justice St., Hendersonville. The lecture will discuss how to face the expenses, anxiety and uncertainty when confronting large and unpredictable costs of cancer treatment. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.

Pardee UNC Health Care is a not-for-profit community hospital founded in 1953 and is managed by UNC Health Care. The hospital is licensed for 222 acute care beds.
