Pardee UNC Health Care to open new Urgent Care facility in Mills River June 1

Pardee UNC Health Care will open its newest Urgent Care location at 3334 Boylston Highway, Suite 10, in Mills River on Friday, June 1 at 10 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours of the new facility. Pardee Chief Executive Officer James M. Kirby II, Pardee Chief Administrative Officer Johnna Reed and Camp Highlander owner Karl Alexander will attend. Following the ceremony, attendees will have an opportunity to tour the new facility. Pardee Urgent Care Mills River will open its doors for business at noon that day. Pardee UNC Health Care is a not-for-profit community hospital founded in 1953 and is managed by UNC Health Care. The hospital is licensed for 222 acute care beds. Pardee has several locations separate from the main campus, including a comprehensive physician practice network, a cancer center, three urgent care locations and five orthopedic clinics.
