Press release from Rachel Bliss:

Residents of Asheville’s Battery and Vanderbilt Apartments will have other things  on their minds while the Annual Holiday Parade is happening downtown on Saturday, November 17. They will be setting up their first ever outdoor Arts and Crafts Fair and Show at 68 Haywood Street (Pit of Despair), from 12 noon to 3 p.m.

Artists and craftspersons will be featuring one-of-a-kind creations, such as jewelry, light catchers, needlework, photography and fine art at reasonable prices.

The event is sponsored by the Council on Aging/Asheville Buncombe County. Admission is free and is open the public. Come by and check out work these crafters and artists have been honing in on for decades.
