Press release from Buncombe County Government:
Due to predicted inclement weather, Buncombe County COVID vaccination sites will be opening at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021. This weather delay applies to those receiving their first vaccine at AB Tech and to those receiving their second vaccine at A.C. Reynolds High School. Anyone scheduled for an appointment on Thursday prior to 10 a.m. should arrive on Thursday at 10 a.m. for that appointment. Those individuals whose appointments are affected will be notified directly via phone, email, and text.
Should an individual have an appointment for a vaccine after 10 a.m. on Thursday, there is no impact to that appointment. This delay does not impact the number of vaccines that will be administered, and it also does not impact any individual’s position on the wait list.
