Press release from Buncombe County:
In a move that strategically consolidates like-minded services, Buncombe County’s Justice Services Administration and Pretrial Services will be moving to the 14th floor of the Courthouse. Previously located on the first and eighth floors, the move will unify Justice Services and house Pretrial Services directly under the Justice Resource Center, which is on the 15th floor.
The move will also allow clients to more easily access Pretrial Services along with the County’s multiple diversion programs. The relocation also creates better communication and collaboration across the entire Justice Services Department.
Pretrial Services will officially be open to the public on the 14th floor starting Wednesday, Sept. 29. All phone numbers will remain the same. If you have additional questions, please contact Justice Services at (828) 250-4089.
