St. Gerard House 12th Annual First Words of Hope Luncheon

Press release from St. Gerard House:

On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, more than 300 guests will attend a luncheon held at the Blue Ridge Community College in Hendersonville, NC to listen, learn, and lend support to St. Gerard House.

The 12th Annual First Words of Hope Luncheon will focus on the many times a family impacted by Autism is told to wait: wait for access, wait for answers, wait for service, wait for support. The waiting seems to never end. With over 160 children, teens and adults on the waiting list at St. Gerard House, it is evident we need your support to meet the demand in our region.

This year our speakers will include Caroline Long, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of St. Gerard House and mother of 2 children with autism; Rachael Cushing Cook, Founding Chief Clinical Officer of St. Gerard House; and Elizabeth and Michael Bauer, the parents of a Grotto Center participant.

“The First Words of Hope luncheon is a great way to learn more about our mission and discover ways to get involved with our programs. It is our most important source of unrestricted funds. Expanding our services is a huge priority for us. We hope you will join us” shares Founder and CEO, Caroline Long.

A special thank you to our Leader and Ambassador Sponsors: Advent Health, Vannoy Construction, OKA Landscaping, 330 Partners, Carolina Village, LS3P, Strauss Attorneys, and Daddy Mac’s Downhome Dive.
