Press release from Eblen Charities
Eblen Charities has received the 2021 Mission Health Partners Community Award for its work in supporting people in poverty in WNC. It was awarded at the Mission Health Partners Annual In-Person Provider meeting.
Eblen Charities Executive Director Beth Russo said, “We are honored to receive this award. Our incredible staff and volunteers work diligently to meet people where they are, and to address community problems with pragmatic and timely solutions. We are humbled and grateful for this recognition.”
The award was presented by Mission Health Partner’s medical director, Dr. Amy Russell, for Eblen’s work in serving at-risk community members. Dr. Russell noted that Eblen Charities is an organization they frequently turn to when looking for resources to help community members, and that Eblen responds with timeliness and creative solutions.
