Asheville, NC (April 9, 2024): The Asheville Police Department is asking for the public’s help investigating two recent gunfire incidents at Pisgah View Apartments. This is the second gunfire incident within just two days.
On the evening of April 8, officers responded once again to investigate reports of gunshots. When they arrived, two vehicles and an apartment were found to have been damaged by gunfire. The apartment was occupied at the time of the incident, and thankfully, no one was injured. A canvass by officers following the incident revealed the discovery of 14 shell casings.
APD is continuing to investigate these incidents and is asking anyone with additional information to contact APD at (828) 252-1110.
