“From Fiona Apple to Tag Team, Aerosmith to Enigma and every where in between, we’re heading back to the last decade of the 20th century to revisit freedom, youth and plenty of Bill Clinton denials,” says press release for I Love the ‘90s, the new production by local showgirl troupe Les Femmes Mystique. The program includes dancing to ‘90s-era hit songs, a musical rendition of Wayne’s World, comedy and circus arts.
DJ Haltron spins post-performance, and the revelry continues with film clips and games. Five-percent of ticket sales benefits LEAF in Schools and Streets.
Les Femmes Mystique takes the stage at White Horse Black Mountain on Saturday, March 1, from 8-10 p.m. $15 in advance and $17 at the door; VIP $25 (includes front row seat, beverage, and ‘90s inspired gift).
