Here’s an excerpt from the Asheville Citizen-Times:
N.C. Department of Transportation officials are looking into the possibility of installing a traffic light on busy Long Shoals Road at the entrance to Roberson High School to alleviate persistent traffic congestion problems.
As part of the same effort, Buncombe school officials are working on plans of their own to ease congestion there — a project to widen an access road into the school that will enable more vehicles to line up on campus property instead of on Miami Circle and Long Shoals Road.
