News release from the Asheville Police Department:
Asheville Police are investigating a drive-by shooting late Tuesday night in east Asheville. Thankfully, nobody was injured; only property damage has been reported.
Officers responded to reports of a gun discharge in the 100 block of Tunnel Road around 10:39 p.m. on December 10th. When officers arrived, the suspect was no longer on the scene. Canvassing the area, they discovered one bullet hole in the glass door of a business. Witnesses described the vehicle involved as a gray SUV.
