Full announcement from the Asheville Police Department:
On 11/10/2012 (Case number 12-031389), at approximately 0451 hours, there was a reported Breaking and Entering at 948 Tunnel Road (Blue Ridge Pharmacy). Officers responded to the business and located one of the front windows broken out with a tool lying nearby. The surveillance footage shows an unknown white male suspect break into the business. The unknown suspect appears to have dark hair, wearing a white-t-shirt that hangs long in the back, jeans, and a zip up jacket (with some sort of label on the top back part of the jacket, possibly orange in color). There was an unknown amount of prescription medications stolen.
There have been several other unsolved B &E’s reported at Blue Ridge Pharmacy over the years, including one reported on January 23, 2009 (at approximately 0458 hours, case Number 09-002214), on March 5, 2009 (at approximately 0436 hours, case number 09-006561, 09-006672, and 09-006686 all appear to be related), and on March 2, 2010 (at approximately 0326 hours, case number 10-007543). In all incidents the front window was broken out, a tool was left behind, and it was unknown if prescription medication was taken.
Also on January 26, 2011 (case number 11-002251), at approximately 0346 hours, the front window was broken out and a tool was left behind. The surveillance footage shows a large build white male, wearing a black toboggan, thick plaid jacket, gloves, baggy blue jeans, dark brown/black shoes or boots, with a light complexion break into the business. There was prescription medication reported stolen including one pint size bottle of liquid Cheratussin codeine cough syrup.
The reported B&E’s at Blue Ridge Pharmacy are possibly related to the same unknown suspect.
