Press release
Asheville Outlets is pleased to welcome Santa Claus on Saturday, November 21st. Santa is scheduled to arrive at 5 p.m. via a white horse-drawn, holiday carriage and accompanied by Lindt Chocolate Shop elves! North Buncombe High School Band will join Santa with festive music as he parades through Asheville Outlets and officially lights the new 24-foot tree that will be featured at Asheville Outlets throughout the holiday season. The tree will be located in front of Forever 21. The fun also includes magic, balloon art, chocolate tastings and more!
“We have lots of festive activities planned throughout the season and Santa’s arrival is one of the highlights. He always puts everyone in the holiday spirit,” said Sharon Morgan, General Manager, Asheville Outlets.
Following the tree lighting, kids can have their pictures taken with Santa Claus in the Food Court. iHeart Radio stations 99.9 Kiss Country and Star 104.3 will be broadcasting live from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Macaroni Kid will have a booth with holiday arts and crafts for children from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Additionally, shoppers can take carriage rides from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Toys for Tots.
