Elle Decor magazine has revamped the criteria for its 10 “coziest cities” list and, guess what, Asheville made this years’s list.
According to the article,
A team of environmental scientists revamped the definition of “cozy” (a scientific panel we would love to participate in) to evaluate this year’s contenders, looking at restaurants and coffee shops but also museums, florists, breweries, and bed-and-breakfasts. No word on whether the number of roaring fireplaces per capita was included.
Elle‘s top three coziest cities are: 1. Portland, Maine, 2. Santa Barbara, Calif. and 3. Asheville
