Asheville Police Department is investigating gun discharges in the Southside Community that caused damage to two vehicles Sunday night; fortunately, there were no reports of injuries.APD Patrol Officers responded to Water Street around 9:55 p.m. on Aug. 6 to investigate reports of gun discharge. When officers arrived, they found two vehicles with damage from bullet holes to the windows; the vehicles were unoccupied, and no one was reported injured.Officers canvassed the area and found 10 shell casings outside an apartment, along with a pistol magazine containing live rounds.APD investigators are asking for the public’s help with any information about this shooting.
