Here’s the message from Buncombe County Young Republicans Chair Matthew Hoagland via the group’s email newsletter:
Dear Buncombe County Republican,
You’re help is needed right now to build the future of the Republican Party.
On Monday, April 22, the Young Republicans have been invited to join our party’s elected officials in Raleigh for a “Day At The Capitol.” At this event, our members will have the opportunity to dine at the Governor’s Mansion, meet with Lieutenant Governor Dan Forest, tour the NC Supreme Court and even be recognized as a group on the floor of the General Assembly.
This will be a great opportunity for our members to meet with our current elected officials and establish themselves as the future leaders of our party.
In order to attend, however, our members will need your help.
The ticket cost for the day’s event is only $23 per member but that does not include travel or an overnight stay. However, your donation of any amount today would go a long way to help with these costs.
Can you help our Young Republicans by donating just $23 today?
If you can, please send a $23 check with your name, address, occupation, and employer to:

Thanks in advance for your contribution to the future of our party. We hope you’re as excited about this opportunity as we are.– Matthew Hoagland
Chairman, Buncombe County Young Republicans
