Here’s the press release from the Frost campaign (photo also courtesy of the campaign):
Tuesday afternoon, three generations were present when Ellen Frost filed for candidacy to become a Buncombe county commissioner. Frost was joined at the board of elections by both her daughter Liz and grand-daughter Lexi. Frost wanted to share this outstanding moment of family history with her beloved grand-daughter because they will be sharing the future. Frost decided to run to help the community, education, the environment, and especially the economy. People of all generations are struggling in Buncombe county, and Frost felt it was important to involve her family as she takes steps to work for a county that can pull together. “Liz and Lexi continually inspire me to work for the generations to come,” said Frost. In her view a grassroots effort is best when it starts with family with family.
