Emergency shelter location at Edneyville Elementary

From Henderson County Emergency Management:

An emergency shelter is open at Edneyville Elementary, 2875 Pace Road, Hendersonville, for Henderson County residents who were displaced by Hurricane Helene.
This shelter has bathroom facilities and serves hot meals. This location also offers sheltering for pets. If you were displaced from your home due to the hurricane and need to seek shelter, please go to the Edneyville Elementary shelter.
Please note: This shelter is not equipped to provide care for individuals with medical needs requiring intensive support. This includes those who are oxygen dependent, need dialysis, need ventilators, individuals with mental health conditions and those who need help with activities of daily living (eating, toileting and bathing). We’re actively working to find suitable locations to shelter medically intensive patients.
