The first annual Get In Gear Fest takes place March 21, featuring locally made outdoor gear designed to tackle all of the beautiful outdoor activities the region has to offer. The festival will highlight gear builders and offer demos, clinics, raffles, races, events, and local brews.

If you go:

WHEN: Sat., March 21, noon-4 p.m.

WHERE: 144 Riverside Drive, Asheville

HIGHLIGHTS: The event features 25 local outdoor-gear sponsors and five local brewery sponsors, ample bicycle parking, and will be honoring the Love Asheville Go Local Card with special offers from local gear builders.
