Press release from Museum of the Cherokee Indian:

The Museum of the Cherokee Indian will offer free programs through the end of December. The “Cherokee Friends” will provide guided tours of the exhibits and programs on making fire, storytelling, and traditional weapons. “We hope that people will come out to learn more about our culture, meet Cherokee people, and have fun,” said Bo Taylor, Executive Director. All programs and workshops will be conducted by members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.

Free programs will be held on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from December 16 through December 31. The Cherokee Friends will provide guided tours at 11 am and 1 pm. Every Friday afternoon from 1pm-2pm Jerry Wolfe, Beloved Man of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, will tell stories in the Education Wing.
