Raleigh, NC– Governor Pat McCrory announced the following appointments today:
North Carolina Railroad Board of Directors
Mr. Bob Brown (Guilford Co.) – Brown is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of B&C Associates, Inc., a management consulting marketing research and public relations firm headquartered in High Point, NC. He attended North Carolina A&T and Virginia Union University.
Mr. Thomas Glasgow (Carteret Co.) – Glasgow is the principal in charge of construction for Clancy and Theys Construction Co. He attended North Carolina State University.
Mr. Jeff Goodman (Buncombe Co.) – Goodman is the President and CEO of Hedrick Industries, a 4th generation, family owned and operated business.
Mr. Fred Klein (Mecklenburg Co.) – Klein is the Managing Partner for Childress Klein Properties. He attended Lehigh University, Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania.The North Carolina Railroad Board oversees the operation of the North Carolina Railroad Company. Each term length is four years.
North Carolina Economic Development Board
Shelia C. Pierce (Onslow Co.) – Pierce is a managing partner with Home Team Real Estate in Jacksonville, NC. She attended Salisbury State College.
The North Carolina Economic Development Board advises the Governor and Commerce on economic policy, industrial recruitment and expansion, trade policy, and travel and tourism. Each term length is four years.
