Press release from Hendersonville Community Theatre:

A scorching new production of Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer Prize-winning classic Cat on a Hot Tin Roof arrives at Hendersonville Community Theatre from September 21 to October 7. Tickets are $12-$22 and are available online at HendersonvilleTheatre.org  or by calling the Box Office at (828) 692-1082.

Tennessee Williams’ literary masterpiece explores family relationships against the backdrop of social mores, greed, sexual desire, repression and death. On a steamy night in Mississippi, a Southern family gathers at their cotton plantation to celebrate Big Daddy’s 65th birthday. The scorching summer heat is almost as oppressive as the lies they tell.
