Intentional Swine seeks backers for West Asheville shop

Press release:

Intentional Swine LLC to Open a Retail Shop in West Asheville

Innovative butcher shop is seeking funding

Asheville, North Carolina: Intentional Swine LLC, has announced that they will be opening a whole animal butcher shop and deli, featuring local, sustainable meats on Beecham’s curve in West Asheville. Wrapping up a summer of promotions including BBQ’s, cookouts, and a pop-up tasting dinner, (plus a Labor Day celebration in the field of All Souls Pizza still to come!), they are actively seeking investors and backers for their recently launched Kickstarter campaign. Kickstarter rewards include educational butchering classes, original artwork, and catered events. So far the approval of the community seems genuine for Intentional Swine and the excitement of what’s to come for Beecham’s curve very real.

Partners in the venture, Samara Rasmussen and Jeremiah DeBrie, are both looking forward to Intentional Swine becoming something they can share with everyone in the Asheville area.  “Creating this business from the ground up and seeing it evolve into something so unique and desired is a goal we have always aspired to accomplish.  We strive to be a valued part of this special community and hope to give back to it by supporting our local farmers and economy, while providing high quality, sustainable meats and a space for community to gather and connect”.

Steps taken thus far include:

– Implementing a strategic Instagram feed focusing on Intentional Swine’s product as a business

– Developing a long-term sustainable business model that is unique and approachable

– Distributing a variety of local meat CSA’s to the Asheville community

– Announcing Intentional Swine to the public through sold-out special events & dinners

– Securing the lease on a brick & mortar space in West Asheville
