Jerri Jameson, host of the Morning Report on 570 WWNC and a local radio staple for more than a decade, is leaving Clear Channel Asheville to take a job with Mission Hospital. Here’s an excerpt from her farewell letter, posted on her blog (click the link below to read the whole thing):
After more than 10 years with Clear Channel Asheville, it is time for me to move on from radio. It was a difficult decision. I have gotten to know some truly wonderful people in our great community and for that I will always be grateful. Waking up each morning to share the daily goings on around town, the state and the world with you has truly been an honor I will treasure forever.
